Crispy Wiener Schnitzels
I just love a good crispy Wiener Schnitzel with Lemon and Mayonnaise on top. I will teach you today how to make extra crispy Schnitzels you can easily pair with Potato Chips, Puree, or your favorite vegetables, like the one below here.
My ingredients for this recipe are:
1Kg of Chicken Breast Cutlets (can substitute with beef/pork cutlets)
4 Eggs
A bag of Bread Crumbs
2 cups of Flour
4 cups of Bread Crumbs
1/3 Cup Yellow Mustard
1/3 Cup BBQ Sauce (Can substitute with Ketchup)
2 spoons of Sriracha
1 Teaspoon Garlic powder (and any other spice you like)
Preheated deep oil fryer.
First step is to mix the Eggs, the Mustard, BBQ Sauce, Sriracha and Garlic Powder in a large bowl.
In a second bowl, prep the flour.
In a third bowl, prep the bred crumbs.
Next, grab one of the chicken cutlets, wash well, pat dry with a towel, and cover with flour from all sides in the flour bowl.
Next, place the flour covered cutlet, inside the wet mixture until covered well from all sides.
Next, place the cutlet in the Bread Crumbs bowl and cover well with crumbs from all sides.
Next you need to throw in your preheated deep frier until golden colored, approximately 4-5 minutes per cutlet on my fryer. Take out and place on rack or absorbent paper. Repeat for all cutlets until done.
Bon Appetit everyone, let me know how it came out!
