Bacon & Cheese Potato sliders
I created a simple, easy, delicious recipe to compliment any meal, or to stand as a snack on it's own. I am using the "Holy Trinity": Bacon, Cheese, Potatoes.
Ingredients:
- Bacon/Pancetta
- Potatoes as many as you like
- Cream Cheese
- Cheddar/Yellow Cheese
- Favourite Seasoning - I used Salt, Pepper, and Gralic
- Maple/Brown-Sugar
Prepping time is about 10 minutes
Total Cooking time is 70 minutes
Here is the step by step process:
Choose your Potatoes. You can make large ones, or smaller ones, depending on how you want to serve it, but in the end it's the same taste.
Boil the potatoes until cooked about 50 minutes to one hour.
Chill the potatoes in cold water and prepare for the construction.
Slice each potato in half.
Place some cream cheese on top
Season with your favourite spices
Place cheese on top of cream cheese
Place bacon or pancetta on top of cheese
Sprinkle bacon with brown sugar, or glaze with maple
Place in preheated oven of 400f/200c for about 20 minutes until golden like below. You can also place in your smoker for longer process, but get that wood profile on it.
Enjoy your Bacon, Cheese Potato Sliders, and let me know how it turned out for you.
