Grilled Whole Cauliflower
I got a lot of requests for this recipe from my followers. Cauliflower is an amazing vegetable to cook. It's fresh, nutritious, and delicious. Most important, it is very forgiving when you cook it, so anyone can make it look amazing!
Ingredients:
- Whole Cauliflower
- Olive Oil
- Favourite seasoning - I used Salt, Pepper, and Garlic Powder
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minute Steam + 1.5-2 hour grill
Start by steaming the cauliflower for 10 minutes on high steam in salted water
Take cauliflower out and throw in ice water bath to stop the cooking process
Pat dry and place on oven tray
Season well, and rub with olive oil (don't skimp)
Place in oven on highest temperature with grill on. I reached 270c 520f and cooked it for almost two hours
This is what you are aiming for in the end. Don't be afraid to let it burn a bit, inside it's totally tender and delicious. If you want to experiment, don't hesitate to stuff cloves of garlic, blue cheese, camembert cheese or anything else in between the cauliflowers, and/or parmesan on top.
